What is Sculpely?

Sculpely is a marketplace for 3D printable design. With a few clicks you can sell your 3D printable design to buyers. You sell your 3D printable designs directly to buyers. Sculpely just brings sellers and buyers together.

What designs?

You can sell all your 3D printable designs. But it has to be your design and not from someone else. If you recognize your design, but someone else has uploaded it to Sculpely please send us an email to takedown at sculpely dot com.

What is the price of the 3D printable design?

There are no price standards. The designer sets the price for each 3D printable design.

What percentage of the price does the designer get?

The Designer gets everything of the price. That is 100%. We cannot be more clear.

How does Sculpely earn money?

Sculpely will develop additional services. The basic service will be free for ever! We can ask a small service fee from the buyer.

Why only Sculpteo as printing service?

We started with this platform, but we will add other platforms as soon as possible.

What licence do I give?

You will give a nonexclusive licence to the buyer to use the design for private use. There are some restrictions in the licence. The buyer can not resell the design, the buyer can not put the design in a online or offline database. So the buyer can not put it on a greeting card and sell those greeting cards. The buyer can send a greeting card to their relatives however. Please read the terms carefully.

Who is the owner of the design?

The designer is the owner of the design. Sculpely is just a marketplace. We only get the nonexclusive right to show the designs in the market.

What do I buy?

You will buy a licence. This is a nonexclusive licence to use the file for private use (if you want to use it for commercial use please contact Sculpely or the designer). There are some restrictions in the licence. You can not resell the design, you can not put the design in a online or offline database. So you can not put it on a marketplace. You can send the design to an printing service however. Please read the terms carefully.

How do I pay?

You pay using Paypal. You pay directly to the designer.

How do I get the licence

After the payment you will get a mail with the licence for a specific 3D printable design.

Why do i have to login?

We register the transactions in our database and send the licence through email. You also get an overview of all transactions as a service but the mail is leading.
